I’m Rachel, the face behind Ramble & Retrieve
At Ramble & Retrieve, training is about building a partnership with your dog through kind, ethical, science-backed, force-free methods. I work with your dog’s natural instincts to create a better dog-human bond, calmer walks, and a more fulfilled, settled dog.
Whether you have a working gundog or a much-loved pet, gundog skills can provide a positive outlet for your dog’s drive and energy while making life together more enjoyable. I’m especially passionate about helping puppies get the best possible start, laying the foundations for a confident dog and a strong relationship.
If you’re looking for a quick fix, I may not be the trainer for you. If you’re looking to create a genuine partnership with a dog that wants to work with you, you’re in the right place.
We also offer dog walking in Winchester and villages, or ‘rambles’, designed to give dogs the chance to explore, socialise and fulfil their natural needs in a safe and enriching environment.
Veterinary Experience
With seven years of experience in a busy veterinary practice and canine first aid training, I bring a strong understanding of canine health, behaviour and welfare.
